An investigation at Paterson's community development offices had FBI agents raid the building in search of records reportedly in connection with a prison re-entry program.
Although FBI officials would not discuss details on their investigation they confirmed the presence of agents at this location, however they only said they were conducting official business.
According to officials, a federal subpoena seeking records of the prison re-entry program which was reportedly affiliated with former Gov. Jim McGreevy.
Mayor Joey Torres who is currently under investigation after he reportedly used DPW workers for personal chores around his home. However it remains unclear at this time of raid has any connections to the Torres investigation.
