Police are searching for the suspect who pulled off an armed carjacking last night in the city's East Ward.
The incident was reported at around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rome Street and Magazine Street where police were called to the scene after receiving reports of an armed carjacking in progress.
Units arriving to the scene located the victim who reported to them that a black male suspect who was armed with a gun, approached and demanded the victim's burgundy Honda Accord.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "W57-GSB".
The suspect sped away from the scene the victim said.
There were no physical injuries reported.
