An arrest warrant has been issued for a 38-year-old man accused of fatally shooting his wife at their Jersey City home.
According to authorities, police responded to 120 Manning Avenue sometime around 6 p.m. where they found Sineka Davis, 38, of Jersey City, unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her chest.
She was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for her husband Steve L. Franklin, 39, for the murder of Davis.
Police are seeking information on Franklin's whereabouts, anyone with information to contact the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit at 201-915-1345 or leave an anonymous tip on its website.
