EMS treated a male victim who was struck in the head with object, that is believed to be a gun, during a reported armed robbery that occurred in the city Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, shortly after 3 p.m., where cops were called to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Arriving units located the victim who reported to them that shortly before they arrived , two male suspects, who appeared to be juveniles, exited an unidentified vehicle armed with a weapon and demanded personal possessions when they approached.
When the victim attempted to hand over items, the suspects began to strike him in the head with the weapon the victim said.
The suspects reportedly took cash, a cellphone, and other items before running away from the scene.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life threatening.
Orange Police are investigating.
