Injuries Reported in Overnight Linden Motorcycle Crash

A late night crash involving a motorcycle has police investigating.

According to police, officers responded to the intersection of West Elizabeth Avenue and Laurita Street at approximately 11:01 p.m. for reports of a crash with serious.

An investigation into the crash, revealed that a 1975 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 26-year-old Linden man, was traveling westbound on W. Elizabeth Avenue when it struck a 2008 Cadillac Escalade.

The force of the collision caused the Escalade to then strike a parked 2012 Toyota Scion on W. Elizabeth Avenue.

Arriving EMS units located the motorcycle operator, who was treated at the scene for a possible broken leg before he was taken to University Hospital in Newark. His injuries were described as serious but not life threatening, police added.

According to police, none of the occupants in the Escalade reported any injuries.

The cause of the crash remain underĀ investigation.
