Authorities in Ewing are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person dead in the city.
Exact details regarding the incident are pending, but according to initial reports, police responded to reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Homecrest Avenue shortly before 4:45 a.m. where cops arrived to find a victim shot at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later according to reports.
