The Newark Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating **26-year-old Jeremy Arrington** who is wanted for shooting and sexually assaulting a friend on Sunday, in the Clinton Hill section of the City.
After the assault, the victim walked to Beth Israel Hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries police said.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Bail for Arrington is set at $400,000.
Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is urging anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts to immediately call the by dialing 911 or anonymously be using the Department's 24-hour toll-free Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867).
