Newark Shooting Suspect Turns Himself In

The Newark Police Division’s Fugitive Apprehension Team (F.A.T.) arrested Guillermo Arroyabe, 41, of Newark, today for a shooting that occurred on Sept. 22nd on the 400 block of North 5th Street.

According to police, officers responded to Clara Mass Hospital at approximately 5 p.m. and met with the victim who suffered non-life threatening injuries from the incident.

During the course of the investigation, Major Crimes Detective were able to determine Guillermo Arroyabe as the suspect from the shooting and issued an active warrant for his arrest.

Arroyabe turned himself into F.A.T with his attorney after learning he was wanted and was arrested without incident.
