An early morning collision that involved a bicyclist and a car in Jersey City has police investigating.
A crash investigation team reported to the area of JFK Boulevard and Orient Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m. after emergency responders rushed to the scene and found a badly injured person at that location.
A prelimnary report indicated that the victim was riding a bike when struck by the vehicle.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in an unconscious and unresponsive condition reports said.
Police are attempting to determine what caused the accident.
