A reported armed carjacking at knifepoint in Paterson has police searching for suspects.
According to reports, shortly before 1 a.m., the driver of a taxi cab walked into police headquarters and reported to authorities that before arriving at the station, two black male suspects demanded the vehicle after brandishing a knife.
The driver told police that the vehicle , a brown Lincoln Town car with the words " Excellent Transportation" written on it, was taken in the 100 block of North 3rd Street.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "OT2142".
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
