Trenton Gunfire Injures One

A late night shooting in Trenton sent a 25-year-old man to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police in the area of Cleveland and Farragut avenues shortly before 9:30 p.m. heard gunshots coming from the area of South Olden Avenue, police said.

As police responded, dispatchers received a call for shots fired in the area of Hobart Avenue.

The victim, only described as a 25-year-old man, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his left arm, left flank and both thighs. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he's was listed as stable but critically injured.

Based on preliminary investigations, a man walking in the area started shooting at the victim.

The suspect was last seen possibly wearing a gray shirt.

The Shooting Response Team is continuing to investigate.
