Police are on the search for several suspects who are responsible for an armed carjacking in Newark's West Ward.
According to reports, the carjacking happened in the area of Vermont Avenue and Grove Terrace late last night where about four male suspects exited a green Ford Explorer with tinted windows.
The suspects reportedly approached the victim with guns drawn and took a green two-door Honda Accord with a reported license plate number "W32-GSB".
The men reportedly fired off at least two rounds in the direction of the victim according to reports.
Police setup a crime scene in the area but it is not immediately clear if any evidence of a shooting was ever found.
The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
Police are investigating.
