County police announced today that a Rahway man was arrested last week at a county park for possession of CDS.
Police we on routine patrol at Raway River Park on Sept. 7th, when he observed an unoccupied vehicle parked for hours in one of the parking lot areas.
According to police, once the officer located the occupants - a male and female - of the vehicle and as the officer spoke to them, the male – Jeffrey Fellows, 30, of Rahway, threw a cigarette box to ground.
Paternostro questioned Fellows regarding the tossing of the box but he denied any knowledge of it, even though the officer witnessed this act.
After retrieving the box, police found three glassine envelopes containing suspected heroin inside of it.
Fellows was placed under arrest and subsequently charged with one count of possession of CDS.
