TRENTON – The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred this morning.
According to to a press release, police said at approximately 11:13 a.m., Trenton police responded to a call for female shot at an apartment in the 200 block of Spring Street.
Upon arrival, police found the victim in a second floor bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder area police said.
Police identified the victim as **20-year-old Keyauna Hughey** and said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hughey resided in the Spring Street apartment police said.
