A $1,500.00 warrant has been issued for Suquan Pelt, 25, of Newark, in connection with an aggravated assault on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Accordinf a press release issued by authorities, at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, Newark Police responded to a call of an assault incident.
A 23-year old female victim reported that she had suffered a broken jaw, went to St. Barnabas Hospital and was released after three days of treatment police said.
Following an intense investigation, detectives determined that Pelt is a suspect in the aggravated assault.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they are seekin the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
