There is an active search for two suspects who are responsible for a gas station robbery that was robbed early this morning in Kearny.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress at the Exxon Gas Station located in the 20's block of Passaic Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.
Units arrived to the scene and began a search of the area for two black males who reportedly pointed a weapon at employees and announced a robbery according to reports.
It is not immediately known how much proceeds the suspects took before the men fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
