Police arrested a man and two juveniles after leading on a pursuit on Tuesday morning.
According to police, **Raquan Tillery, 18, of Newark,** and two juveniles were arrested yesterday for a car theft and gun possession.
Police said at approximately 4:00 a.m., Newark Police observed a white 2015 Honda CRV that had been reported stolen.
Following a pursuit by officers, the occupants were apprehended in the area of 30 Pierce Street police said.
A search of the vehicle had police recover a .45 caliber handgun.
Tillery is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Resisting Arrest and weapons charges according to authorities.
The juveniles are both charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Resisting Arrest.
Police are investigating whether these individuals are related to the four incidents of shots fired on South 11th Street, where two male victims, a 19-year old and a 21-year old, were shot.
The adult victim is listed in critical, but stable condition while the teen was treated and released from the hospital.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
These are mere accusations lodged against Tillery.
He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
