Police in Newark are investigating a reported stabbing that happened in the city overnight.
Officials at the Clara Maass Hospital contacted police when a male victim entered their emergency department suffering a stab injury at around 1 a.m. according to reports.
The victim reported to police that he was stabbed in the area of Orange Street and Roseville Avenue after an apparent robbery.
The extent of the victim's injuries have not been released.
There were no description of the suspects reported.
