A crash that caused fatal injuries in New Gretna has authorities investigating.
The crash happened in the 5900 block of Rt. 9 near Old New York Road at around 8:30 p.m. where emergency responders were called to the scene for a crash with injuries.
Arriving crews located a vehicle with one occupant inside suffering serious injuries after crashing into a pole according to reports.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical staff.
Police closed Rt. 9 for several hours for the crash investigation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
