A violent home invasion robbery reported in Paterson is under investigation by authorities.
Police are looking for 3-4 black male suspects who reportedly forced their ways into a home in the 80's block of Beech Street at around 9:30 p.m. according to authorities.
The suspects entered the residence and seriously attacked one person who was inside reports said.
The victim was transported by EMS to St. Joseph's Medical Center after being pistol whipped at that location. The vicim suffered a minor head injury and a broken jaw.
Suspects fled the scene taking several items including a cell phone.
There were no arrests reported.
