A 64-year-old East Orange boater who was reported missing has been identified as the man found dead in a downtown marina over the weekend.
According to authorities, on Friday, a Jersey City man called police to report an unattended sailboat floating in the water with a running motor.
After a two day search at Liberty Harbor Marina, Sunday afternoon divers from the Jersey City Emergency Service Unit recovered the body of Roger Brown, of East Orange.
A medical examiner ruled Brown's death as accidental.
A head injury consistent with a fall contributed to the cause of death which was determined to be drowning.
