A 35-year-old Elizabeth woman has been accused of cashing more $40,000 worth of checks last year from her employer.
According to police, Daisy Ramos was accused of stealing checks made out to her employer between April 2015 and October 2015.
The thefts were originally reported to police in March but Ramos was not arrested until several months of investigations.
