Police has released the identified of the 30-year-old Maryland man killed on the NJTurnpike in Monroe Township.
Police responded to the southbound lanes of the highway near exit 8a after receiving reports of a crash with reported injuries.
Upon arrival, police found an overturned vehicle near milepost 72.7 in the inner roadway. The driver, Quincy Ross, 30, of Upper Marlboro, Md had been ejected from the vehicle onto the highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger in Ross' vehicle -later identified as Alisa Green, 49, of Laurel, Md - was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with non-life threatening injuries.
A cause of the crash remains under investigation.
