Trenton authorities are investigating a shooting that injured two people in the city overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 800 block of Greenwood Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. sending police to the scene where officers located one person reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the back.
The victim, (reported to be a male) was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was expected to make a full recovery.
Police canvassed several blocks in the area and located a second victim in the 200 block of Locust Street suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
Both shootings are under investigation by police and are believed to be connected.
