Police officers are investigating an overnight home invasion at a 16th Avenue apartment where two masked men forced their way into the home reportedly making off with the residents rent money.
Police responded to a 16th Avenue apartment sometime after 1:30 early Wednesday morning for a report of a home invasion.
Upon arrival, officers met with victim who told them that two masked men forced their way through the front door and demanded his cash.
The victim complied, and handed over his cell phone, car keys, and rent money.
The suspect allegedly struck the victim in the head with the gun before fleeing but the victim declined medical treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
