A 36-year-old woman has been charged with child endangerment among other charges after she was caught buying cocaine with three small children in the car.
According to police, officers in the area of Riverside and South Hermitage avenues around 9 Tuesday morning, allegedly witnessed a hand-to-hand transaction between a man and woman in a parked car.
Tammy Argueta, of Riverside, who was inside the parked vehicle with three small children she was babysitting, was reportedly found in possession of two grams of crack cocaine.
The state's Division of Child Protection and Permanency, was contacted and the children were later released to their mother.
Argueta was charged with child endangerment, several drug offenses and being an unlicensed driver. She was initially held on $75,000 bail.
The children were not physically harmed, according to police,
Also charged was 19-year-old Anah Sanders, of Trenton, who was allegedly found in possession of two grams of marijuana and $233 in cash. He was charged with multiple drug dealing offenses and is being held on $100,00 bail.
