Police are investigating a stabbing that happened earlier today that sent a man to the hospital.
The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Clinton Avenue where cops were called to the scene for an injured man according to reports.
Several police units arrived to the scene to find the victim reportedly suffering multiple stab wounds to the chest according to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark where the extent of his injuries have not been disclosed.
Police are looking for a 6'1" tall, 160 pound black male who was last seen wearing purple socks, jean shorts, and a white t-shirt with black shirt on his shoulder.
The suspect reportedly has salt and pepper colored hair that is cut short.
