Police are investigating a reported strong armed robbery that happened early this afternoon in the city's North Ward
Cops responded to the area of North 6th street and Bloomfield Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. on reports of a carjacking in progress.
Units arrived to the scene and began to search the area for a black four-door Nissan Sentra that was taken by strong arm by a tall black male who is around the age of 30-35-years-old reports said.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "X17-DZS".
There were no physical injuries reported.
