A brief foot pursuit for a prisoner that nearly escaped a local hospital had cops capturing the suspect overnight.
Police chased down the prisoner after he reportedly bolted away from officers at around 1 a.m. at the University Hospital according to reports.
The short pursuit had officers catching the suspect a short distance away.
There were no injuries reported.
