The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office has released the identity of the Paterson man was shot and killed overnight on East 28th Street.
Officers were called to East 28th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues shortly after 12:30 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found 35-year-old Michael Boone, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds authorities said.
Boone was pronounced dead at 12:50 a.m.
The investigating into the homicide is ongoing.
