A 66-year old contractor was rescued from a rooftop yesterday after suffering from heat exhaustion.
Firefighters responded to 12 Hayes Road sometime around 5 p.m. for a report of a person collapsed on the roof.
Upon arrival, crews found the 66-year-old contractor - who had been reportedly working outside all day - experiencing signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion.
The patient was placed in a rescue basket and lowered to the ground on a ladder with specialized ripe rigging.
He was then transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No information was immediately available as to the man's current condition.
