Emergency responders are on the scene of a head-on crash with serious injuries reported in the township at this time.
Crews rushed to the intersection of Amboy Avenue and Grove Street sometime around 11:45 a.m. for a report of a head-on, according to police.
Upon arrival, police found an elderly male driver suffering life threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Robert Wood in New Brunswick.
The other driver involved was transported to an area hospital with what police described as minor injuries.
As of 1:59 p.m., the intersection remained closed as the investigation into the crash continued.
