Police in East Orange are investigating a crash that had a pedestrian struck and injured overnight in the city.
Emergency responders were called to the area of Harrison Street and Melrose Avenue for a crash with injuries reported.
Crews arrived to the scene where they found a motor vehicle crash with a pedestrian injured at that location according to reports.
One of the vehicle's reportedly lost control and struck the pedestrian.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital in Newark in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
