Police Nab Shooting Suspect in Newark

According to Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose members of the department's FAT, (Fugitive Apprehension Team) arrested 26-year-old, Newark resident, Shadee Holley, who was wanted for shooting a person on June 27, 2016 near the 700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Authorities said, this morning, members of FAT detained Holley at their headquarters when he came in to inquire about his brother.

Holley was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a gun, possession of the gun for unlawful purposes stemming from the shooting

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

These are mere allegations lodged against Holley. He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
