New Jersey Senate will not take any action on legislation to hike the gas tax by 23 cents.
According to reports, Senate is not satisfied with the bill that was approved by the Assembly, and are allegedly working on drafting their own legislation.
The bill would have raised the gas tax to 37.5 cents a gallon from 14.5 cents and cut the sales tax from 7 percent to 6 percent.
The state's trust fund is Achilles to run out by tomorrow, July 1st.
