A six-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital after she was found unresponsive in Westfield Memorial Pool.
Police responded to Westfield Memorial Pool - located on North Scotch Plains Avenue - sometime after 4 p.m. for a unresponsive child.
Upon arrival, the Tamaques student was pulled from the water at approximately 4:24 p.m. and transported to Overlook Hospital.
The child's condition is unknown at this time.
The pool was closed as police investigated.
