EMS transported a male victim to University Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle this evening in Newark.
The incident happened at around 8:20 p.m. in the area of Park Avenue and Garside Street where residents dialed 911 after witnessing the man being struck by a vehicle according to reports.
The man is approximately 30-year-old and is reportedly suffering a serious head injury according to reports.
Newark Police are investigating the incident.
