Over a Dozen Arrested for Drugs, Guns in Separate Plainfied Police Raids

Police in Plainfield arrested more than a dozen people I’m the city charging them with possession of drugs and guns according to authorities.

Police said on June 7th at approximately 6:00 a.m. members of the Plainfield Police Divisions Narcotics Unit with assistance from the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Guns, Gangs, Drugs and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a Superior Court Search Warrant at 211 Richmond Street within the City of Plainfield.

Authorities said, subsequently fifteen (15) adults were located and arrested within the two apartments(s.)

A quantity of drugs, packaging materials, and two handguns were seized as evidence authorities said.

The following individuals were arrested according to authorities: Lisa Moore (53), Kamilah Moore (25) , Kamall Moore (23) Charrod Jamal Wilson (25), Raykeem Lee McNeill (20), Malcolm Lucas (20), Darlene Lucas (55), Fracell Thomas Beal (20), Tyeisha Monique Lucas (18) and Rasheeda Jasmine Grant (26), Devon Paul Hammond (22), Kevin Scott Green (56), Robert Louis Stevenson, Jr. (51), Sylvia Graves (58) all of Plainfield.

Also arrested were: Francisco Diaz (42) North Plainfield. All individuals were charged with: Possession of a handgun; Committing a drug offense while in possession of a handgun; Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; distribution of marijuana with intent to distribute 500’ from public housing police said.

Police said on June 20, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. members of the Plainfield Police Divisions Narcotics Unit conducted a narcotics investigation in the 1000 Block of Park Avenue. Subsequently two loaded handguns, a quantity of marijuana, two cars and $6,556.00 US currency was seized.

Five (5) individuals were arrested. Nickoy S. Senior, Neojoe Lughas , Elijah Q Mitchell, Dajuan J. Franklin, Javaughn A. Travers according to authorities.

The charges ranges from possession of marijuana to possession of a handgun during a drug offense were filed.

The charges are mere allegations.

All of the suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
