Police in Edison are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early this morning.
Cops responded to an address on Truman Drive South at around 1:15 a.m. on reports of shots fired according to reports.
Units arriving to the scene located one person suffering injury from gunfire.
The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in serious but stable condition according to reports.
The motive for the shooting is unknown as of 3:30 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
