An East Orange man was sentence Tuesday after admitting selling 100 grams or more of heroin in Newark.
Rudd who was sentenced to nearly six years in prison after he and four other men were charged with operating a heroin mill in Newark in 2013.
According to officials, back in 2013, police during a raid of a Broadway apartment found materials for making and storing heroin and more than a kilogram of the drugs. On that day, Rudd managed to escape after he jumped approximately 30 feet out a third-floor window. However, he was arrested in February, 2014, according to authorities.
Among the remaining four men charged, Shakur Billinghurst pleaded guilty and was sentenced to more than three years in prison. Rassol China was sentenced to 22 years. The remaining two, Lateef Grimsley and Daquwann Walker, have charges pending.
