Overnight Shooting Kills 34-Year-Old Camden Man

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city Monday night.

Camden County Police responded at approximately 10:52 p.m. to the 400 block of S. 30th Street in Camden in reference to a ShotSpotter activation for multiple gunshots.

Officers arrived and located the victim, Stanley Brown, 34, of Camden, suffering from gunshot wounds lying on the ground. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 11:27 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
