An early morning shooting has a man fighting for his life in a Camden hospital at this time.
Police responded to the area of South 7th Street and Everett Street at around 1:30 a.m. after gunfire rang out in the area.
Arriving units immediately requested EMS after finding a male victim who was unconscious and bleeding from an apparent gunshot injury at that location.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital by EMS where he is was reported to be in critical condition.
A crime scene was setup in the area where officers searched for evidence and a possible suspect.
There were no reports of an arrest made.
