Authorities are investigating a overnight home invasion robbery that was reported in the city's West Ward.
The robbery happened in the 300 block of Sanford Avenue at around 9 p.m. when cops were called to the scene after receiving reports of a home invasion robbery in progress.
Units arriving to the scene and began to search for a a 6ft tall blackberry male who was last seen wearing dark colored clothing when he reportedly forced his way into the residence according to reports.
Armed with a gun, the suspect reportedly ordered several items from occupants inside the residence. The man took the keys and drove off in a black 2014 Nissan Altima with a reported partial NJ license plate number "P95" reports said.
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries.
