The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and Mendham Township Police Department are seeking information from the public regarding an ongoing fire investigation.
On Tuesday February 24, 2016 at approximately 2:00 a.m., the historic Pitney Farm, located at 1 Cold Hill Road, Mendham Township was severely damaged by a fire.
The structure was vacant at the time of the fire.
The investigation of the fire remains active and ongoing.
At this time, this fire has been determined to be caused by a human act, and is being investigated as an act of arson.
Law enforcement is seeking information from anyone having knowledge of this fire, and/or the circumstances surrounding it.
