Newark residents, have you seen Marcelo?

The family of 19-year-old Marcelo Nikolai Munoz is seeking the community's assistance in locating him after the avid harmonica player has not been seen since the weekend.

According to family, Marcelo left his father's residence located in the 80's block of Garrison Street in Newark's Ironbound section at around 1 p.m. on April 24th.

Marcelo reportedly arrived from Chile to New Jersey on Tuesday April 19th for the first time. When he left his Newark address on Sunday April 24th "to walk around Newark", Marcelo did not take any money or clothing and has a celular phone on him that family members said doesn't work in the USA.

Family said Marcelo is 5'7" tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a red backpack, and black and red sneakers.

Marcelo also took his harmonica with him when he left family said.

If you come across Marcelo, please contact Newark Police at 973-733-6000 or in-box our staff.
