Worker Found Dead in NJ High School Causes Class Cancellations

Mastery High School of Camden is closed to students and staff on Wednesday as an on-campus police investigation is underway. School officials posted an alert on the school's website but did not provide details regarding the closure.AdCamden officials confirmed that an ongoing police investigation prompted the closure, advising that inquiries about the matter be directed to Camden County Police. 

Sources familiar with the situation told RLS Media that a worker's body was found on the premises.

While the investigation is still in progress, the source suggested that it is unlikely the death is being treated as a homicide, indicating the person may have fallen ill and passed away.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are not involved in the incident. 

Students who could walk home were dismissed, while transportation was arranged for those requiring assistance.AdSchool officials expect the campus to reopen on Thursday.
