A 47-year-old secretary for the Woodbridge school district was arrested on theft charges, according to authorities.
Officials say the investigation began when Superintendent Robert Zega was made aware that $6,000.00 from the Woodbridge Boys Soccer Club went missing.
Investigators later determined that Stacey Castro, 47, of Woodbridge, reportedly stole the funds.
Police charged Castro with theft and released her pending a court hearing. She was also suspended with pay from her job with the district.
