Woodbridge Home Destroyed in Early Morning Two-Alarm Blaze

A raging early-morning fire tore through a home in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township on Thursday, prompting a significant emergency response and the evacuation of nearby homes.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 80 block of McGuire Street shortly before 3:10 a.m. after multiple 911 calls reported the blaze.AdUpon arrival, crews found the house fully engulfed in flames. Officials quickly struck a second alarm to bring in additional manpower as flames threatened neighboring structures.

In a tense effort, firefighters stretched multiple water lines and entered the burning home to search for any trapped occupants.

While most residents escaped unharmed, at least one individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. No serious injuries had been reported as of 5 a.m.

The fire caused significant damage to the home, and its intense heat raised concerns for nearby properties, leading to temporary evacuations.

Crews worked tirelessly to contain the flames and prevent further spread. Much of the house collapsed under intense flames. AdThe cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the names of those affected, but the incident has shaken the community.
