Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on September 26th.
According to police, at approximately 4:25 p.m., a 75-year-old woman walking near the 400-block of North 11th Street, was approached by a woman who grabbed her purse, causing her to fall.
The suspect - described as Hispanic, 5’5” tall, approximately 150 lbs., last seen wearing a black and white top, pink shorts and flip-flops - fled down Bloomfield Avenue.
The victim was transported to Clara Maas Hospital for treatment but was later released.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from the streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
