Jersey City Police are on the search for a suspect wanted for a shooting that injured a female Saturday morning.
Jersey City Medical Center officials notified police when a woman entered the emergency room suffering a gunshot wound around 3:35 a.m.
The victim told police she was near the Sal Laf Court on Oak Street when gunfire struck her.
Officers checking the area found a crime scene, but no arrests have been reported.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
